Biography

EDWARD ALLEN WORRELL, 69, of Fort Wayne, passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at Parkview Hospital. Born Dec. 19, 1939, he was the son of the late Elmer Edward and Helen Elizabeth (Fallis) Worrell. He was a welder at Fruehauf for 30 years. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn; sons, Douglas Allen Worrell Sr., Edward "Eddie" Allen Jr. and Charles Landin Worrell; stepson, Kenneth Parmenter; daughter, Jani Kay Suarez; sisters, Sue Rhodes and Phyllis Miller; brothers, Carl Worrell and Steven Worrell; and several grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Colleen Gagnan. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Saturday at C. M. Sloan & Sons, 1327 Wells St., with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials to the family.
