Nadiia and Keith, I love you very much, I will always remember you and that moments we spent together. There so much words that were not told because I thought we will have a lot of time. Life changes our plans. I still can't believe this could happened. I will miss our evening talks, I will miss you. Love you forever...

Message by Steve Backiel & Terry Vanderplas - November 13, 2009

Keith was a super mechanic and a wonderful guy. What a great resource we have lost. Terry and I have been taking our cars and truck to Keith for almost 20 years. You could always count on Keith to diagnose the problem correctly and repair it economically. I never bought a used car without letting Keith check it out first and give it his stamp of approval. Once he warned me off a luxury car I really wanted to buy—he knew just by driving it that it had been in an accident.
Keith would go to great lengths to find used or rebuilt parts to save us money, and new or used, he only charged us his cost for those parts, rather than marking them up the way most shops do. You always knew you were getting a fair deal when you went to Keith Abblett’s Auto Repair. We especially appreciated Keith’s creativity in coming up with novel solutions to difficult repair problems.
Keith always had time to talk with you when you brought your car in for service. He would ask how you had been and what you had been doing. He told us recently how happy he was being married to Nadiia. We regret we never got meet her. It was always a pleasure to refer our friends to Keith, because we knew they would not be disappointed. None ever were.
Terry and I were heartsick when we heard of the tragedy that took Keith from us. We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to his children and to the rest of his family. We want them to know that he will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.
